So....Sammi's guitar???
I was contacted by someone who claimed they had the guitar that Sammi played in the school dance scene. I'm a guitar player, so I know what that guitar is: A fairly hard to find Japan-made Fender Squier ST-331 guitar. If you've read the interview on this site with producer Joel Soisson, he explains: "I kept the guitar that Sammi blasted people with. Cheap little Fender thing. I play a little myself and I kept it in my garage for years. Somebody stole it. Doubtful they knew it was a cherished relic from "Trick Or Treat".
So I guess it's possible that whoever contacted me hopefully wasn't the theif, but someone who got the guitar somewhere along the line, and the story passed down. The person had no way to verify the story, but also had no real reason to lie about it. I checked the serial number, and it's from 1985, so the timeline does work. TheFender Squier ST models never caught on, so there's not a ton of them out there, so who knows, maybe I actually DO now own Sammi's guitar! Either way, I fully intend to play "Trick Or Treat" by Fastway on it tonight. LOUD!

News 2023:
NEW WEBSITE!!
The old website needed a fresh update, and it's been a long time coming. The new site isn't great (my skills are fair at best) but it's a bit more updated and fitting of Rock's Chosen Warrior, Sammi Curr! I've been trying to reach out to some of the cast for new interniews, but they've been a bit hard to reach. But fear not Sleepyheads, I will continue to do my best for all of you who visit the site every year. We're coming up on 37 years since "Trick Or Treat" was released. Where has all the time gone? Whether you're an original Rock Warrior that saw the movie in the theater back in the day, or a newcommer to the film, Sammi still speaks to us. Dead or alive, it doesn't matter!
So welcome to Sammi Curr.com. As long as you all come here to visit Sammi very year, I will keep this site alive. Grab a drink, and look around...there's lots to see.
